In this ever-evolving climate, there has never been a better time to use social media as a tool to drive us forward and become totally immersed in narratives that lift us up and inspire us. This month we are giving you an insight into the Instagram accounts that keep us ticking and continue to nourish us throughout isolation.


Australian born illustrator Adriana Picker uses her iPad to create, detailed romantic illustrations based on her natural surroundings. Using bold colour-ways and striking subject matter, Adriana creates ethereal floral scapes that blur the line between abstract and fine art. With an impressive list of clients including Vogue, Jurlique, Mecca and Gourmet Traveler, to name a few, it’s easy to see why Adriana is the “it girl” of the illustration world.

Colour Collective created by Lauren Wager is an online colour resource for designers and artists alike. The colour palettes are based on the work of various designers, artists, and photographers that Lauren is inspired by. Using beautiful photographs Lauren curates objects, still-lives, landscapes, interiors and fashion to extract impressive colour combinations that inspire us in all aspects of design.

You only have a scroll through Grece’s Instagram account to understand why her posts amass thousands of likes. Her unique style sees the merge colour and texture to create daring fashion choices that are on trend yet timeless. With her motto of “bold is beautiful” Grece’s style fails to skip a beat, from her jewellery to sunglass choices she is at the top of our style icon list.

Theo-Bert Pot is a man who wears many hats, his resume includes work as a Collector, TV Stylist, Interior Stylist, Photographer, Presenter, Workshop host and Lecturer. Using his home as his styling lab, Theo along with his partner Jelle, have created a stunning space with the unlikely fusion of Scandinavian, French and Dutch design. With dark moody hues of forest green and matte black his bold use of interior colour has become synonymous with stylists and designers the world over.

It’s easy to get lost in the world of Robbie Lawrence and spend hours scrolling through his Instagram feed. A dark and meditative journey, the photographer draws you in with his wistful narrative, playing on his innate sense to strikingly juxtapose light and shade. Robbie predominantly focuses on travel documentary, aiming to capture a moment in time, encouraging the viewer to rethink their perception on beauty and the world around them. Robbie is the perfect escape for those long days in isolation.
